At Meglab, we are seeking a skilled Battery Electric Vehicle Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in the field of electrification and digitalization of the mining sector.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the mining industry, with a strong background in electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance. They will also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description

This role involves installing, repairing, inspecting, and connecting all devices related to Epiroc's battery electric vehicles. You will be responsible for communicating technical information between clients and our team, performing electrical repairs, and occasionally providing training to clients on equipment and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An electrician license
  • 2-3 years of experience in the mining industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively with multiple internal stakeholders at various hierarchical levels
  • Modular training for miners (an asset)
  • Explosives permit (an asset)
