Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glass Cutting Specialist to join our team at Accurate Glass Products Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience operating finishing machines to grind, drill, sand, bevel, decorate, wash or polish glass or glass products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate finishing machines to grind, drill, sand, bevel, decorate, wash or polish glass or glass products
  • Set up and adjust glass and glass product finishing machines
  • Visually inspect products for quality
  • Set up or adjust automatic glass feeding, flowing and forming machines
  • Weigh, measure and check production samples to assess conformance to specifications
  • Cut glass along marked outlines or around pattern using hand tools
  • Operate process control machinery to cut glass or assemble glass window units
  • Place pattern on or under glass for cutting
  • Smooth rough edges using belt sander or smoothing wheels
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a noisy and dusty environment.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
