We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at 100 Mile House Hospital. As a Community Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with nursing staff, the Community Respiratory Therapists in Williams Lake, and the OMH Acute Care Respiratory Therapist to deliver respiratory therapy services and programs related to community respiratory therapy.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to promote respiratory health, assess, educate, treat, and rehabilitate patients with respiratory dysfunction, and communicate and demonstrate community and hospital-based respiratory care procedures to other healthcare professionals and students.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package, relocation allowance for eligible positions, and opportunities for career advancement and specialization in different areas of practice.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering respiratory therapy services and programs related to community respiratory therapy
  • Working closely with nursing staff, the Community Respiratory Therapists in Williams Lake, and the OMH Acute Care Respiratory Therapist
  • Communicating and demonstrating community and hospital-based respiratory care procedures to other healthcare professionals and students
  • Assessing, educating, treating, and rehabilitating patients with respiratory dysfunction
