Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team at Prep Academy Tutors. As a Math and Science Tutoring Specialist, you will provide academic support and tailored lesson plans to students in grades 5 through 12, focusing on the Ontario curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplemental assignments to foster a deeper understanding of Math and Science concepts.
- Offer remedial and enrichment activities to cater to individual student needs.
- Regularly communicate with parents or guardians to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Energetic and passionate about teaching, with prior experience in the education field.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in engaging with students and families and maintaining positive relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or equivalent qualifications for teaching in Canada or the United States.
- Pursuing or holding a bachelor of education, or significant experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian institution.
