Société Financière Manuvie is seeking a highly experienced Global Compliance Leader to join their team. The Privacy compliance function plays a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance effectiveness throughout the organization by developing compliance programs, standards, and practices.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance or legal roles, with a Bachelor's degree in law, social sciences, business, IT, or a related field. Exceptional writing and oral communication skills are essential, as well as strong program management capabilities and experience.

The successful candidate will lead the management of privacy issues as they arise, providing guidance and oversight on Privacy Risk Management to ensure compliance with privacy regulatory requirements and company policies. They will also develop and manage a global monitoring program for privacy compliance control effectiveness.

  • Developing and maintaining program documents, processes, and workflows to support the ongoing adoption of the global privacy program across Société Financière Manuvie's businesses.
  • Leading the management of privacy issues as they arise, including working with Privacy Legal Counsel, Market CPOs, and Market CCOs as appropriate.
  • Providing guidance and oversight on Privacy Risk Management (acting as Line 2) to help ensure compliance with privacy regulatory requirements and Company policies.
  • Developing and managing a global monitoring program for privacy compliance control effectiveness through the performance of quality assurance reviews and assessment of key privacy compliance controls; and managing of privacy incidents.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years progressive experience in risk management, compliance or legal roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, social sciences, business, IT, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and oral communication skills.
  • Strong and proven program management capabilities and experience.
