At Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Child and Youth Ambulatory Care department.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide clinical consultation to the Eating Disorder Team on complex patients, track program fidelity, and contribute to patient outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a regionalized program that offers equitable access to collaborative and standardized care for eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical consultation to the Eating Disorder Team on complex patients
- Track program fidelity and contribute to patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and provide treatment for patients with eating disorders
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
- Graduate from a CPA/APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- Authorized area of practice in Clinical Psychology
- Authorized client population in children, adolescents, family, and adults
- Five years of experience in clinical mental health preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical work with mental health disorders, including patients with severe and complex mental health and eating disorders
- Strong knowledge and experience working with vulnerable and marginalized clients and families
- Demonstrated experience and confidence in eating disorders assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in transitional-aged youth
- Demonstrated evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem assessment skills
- Commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Individual leadership skills and ability to work in a team setting
