Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario Inc O/A Petro Canada. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll and benefits for employees, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
