Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commissary Cook to join our team at CB Canada. As a Commissary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food products to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients and cook food products as directed by the Chef de Cuisine or Kitchen Manager.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Receive and store stock, labeling and dating items as required.
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation, including garnishing and plating.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Attend regular culinary meetings to stay updated on menu changes and new initiatives.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary education an asset.
  • Minimum 6 months of culinary experience; Red Seal certification through ITA or current enrollment in the program an asset.
  • Food Safety Certification; ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Work Environment:
  • Regular kitchen environment; standing and walking for long periods of time; major exposure to heat, cold steam, noise, odors; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending.
