Job Summary

JSS LANDSCAPING LTD. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, writing specifications, and ensuring the health and beauty of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Specification Writing: Develop detailed specifications for landscaping projects, including plant selection, material requirements, and installation procedures.
  • Lawn Care and Maintenance: Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides as needed to maintain healthy lawns and prevent pest and disease issues.
  • Trees and Shrubs: Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease, and develop plans to address these issues.
  • Planting and Maintenance: Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, including trees and shrubs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a variety of outdoor environments, including gardens, parks, and construction sites.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
