About the RoleThe Registered Nurse will practice in a perinatal clinical setting, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure delivery of client-centered care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge, based on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing client needs and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and families

Our typical nursing schedules are based on 12-hour shifts, with days and nights available, and rotating days off.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must possess a graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Additionally, advanced preparation in a Perinatal clinical specialty or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. You must also hold current Fetal Health Surveillance, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 2 years, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years, and any additional education around obstetrical emergencies would be an asset.
