Job Title: Junior Lifeguard

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Lifeguard. This is an excellent growth position for individuals who have the current Bronze Cross certification and want to develop their skills as a lifeguard.

About the Role

The Junior Lifeguard plays a vital role in providing quality leisure programs and ensuring the safety of our military members and their families. Our services are tailored to help families with the challenges they may face due to military life and make the most of everyday activities such as going to the pool or beach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision of a zone or at locations where specific equipment or activities require targeted supervision
  • Surveillance over swimmer safety, model and promote safe aquatic behaviors
  • Provide positive public relations, respond to emergency situations, and provide basic patron care
Qualifications

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Current Bronze Cross certification, Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification, and Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification are required.

Language Requirements

French is an essential language for this role. Reading, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
