About This Role

At CAE, the International Business Excellence (IBE) department plays a pivotal role in driving business excellence and operational efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the establishment and refinement of governance tools and processes, ensuring our global business operates at its highest potential.

Key Responsibilities

General and Governance

  • Provide monthly updates on risk and opportunities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on Canada KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and supporting individuals in achieving their targets.
  • Validate project risks in Planisware, publishing trends and ensuring PMs have accurately documented supporting comments.
  • Support quarterly business risk governance and contribute to the development of governance tools and processes.
  • Act as the Planisware SME, providing support and guidance to users and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the PMO Lead to develop and implement S&OP processes.
  • Compare Canada-level financial forecasting with planned resources, identifying discrepancies and reporting findings.

Business Excellence

  • Contribute to IBE initiatives under the guidance of PMO leadership.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure process adherence and implement standardization within the sub-region.
  • Support actionable performance analysis and identify training requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or CEGEP/college degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management processes.
  • Experience implementing process improvement initiatives and change management.
  • Functional knowledge of PM-oriented tools, including Microsoft Office, Project, Planisware, and Oracle R12.
  • Willingness to learn Planisware in-depth and teach/mentor others.
  • Inherent leadership qualities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • PowerBi knowledge an asset.
  • PMP certification or willingness to pursue this certification is an asset.
  • Bilingual French and English is an asset.
