Job Title: Database Analyst

At Canada Inc., we are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a Database Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining computer databases, documenting customers' requirements, and setting up IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain computer databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Document customers' requirements for projects, including data collection and administration policy.
  • Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Test data models and database management systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Design and develop databases to meet business needs, including data administration policy and standards.
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data, providing insights for business decision-making.
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security.
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, as well as data access rules.
Support for Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
