Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at KTC SUNDUNE SOLUTIONS INC. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design operation, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications, and building codes
  • Design and develop power equipment and systems
Requirements:
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Experience with distributed control systems (DCS)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles, including power generation, transmission, and distribution
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
