About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dishroom Assistant to join our team at Singapore Sam's Restaurant.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware using dishwashers or by hand;
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area;
  • Operate dishwashers efficiently and ensure they are properly maintained;
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas;
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors;
  • Safely remove kitchen garbage and trash;
  • Perform various tasks related to food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required;
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a client-focused attitude;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and reliability;
  • Possess efficient communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues;
  • Capable of adapting to changing priorities and meeting deadlines;
  • Able to perform physical tasks that may involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect an estimated annual salary of approximately $35,000.
