Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide speech language pathology services to patients and families, ensuring optimal health outcomes in communication and dysphagia function. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
- Assess patient communication, speech, and swallow functional abilities, needs, and goals using evidence-based assessment methods.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in interprofessional care planning and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and modify strategies as needed.

Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC).
- Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Compensation Package
This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $42.27 - $52.81 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth and advancement. We also offer four weeks of vacation to start and a pension plan.
