Kitchen Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff scheduling and workload to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- Source and procure necessary food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to control costs.
- Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to support bakery operations.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Supervision:
- Supervise a team of 11-15 staff members.
- Work with a diverse team including cooks, food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers.
Work Environment:
- Work in a fast-paced bakery setting.
- Ongoing permanent work term.
- English language required.
- 30-44 hours per week.
- Public transportation available.
