Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment, troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems, and performing equipment installations and modifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance on plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems
  • Perform equipment installations and modifications, including wiring and running conduits
  • Work effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety
  • Follow company policies and safety-first culture while continuously improving standards
  • Collaborate with other trades groups to complete project assignments

Requirements

  • Electrician with a journeyperson license or control system (PLC, Robotics, Automation) background
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematic, and electrical code specifications
  • Comfortable with mechanical troubleshooting and executing assigned mechanical work orders
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to work collaboratively with all departments
  • Highly motivated initiator, able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Effective communication skills, able to complete computer-based work orders
