About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Odoo Developer to join our team at Global Edge Software Ltd. As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom Odoo modules to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Improve Apps: Design and develop custom Odoo modules to meet the specific needs of our clients.
  2. Train and Support Customers and End-Users: Provide training and support to customers and end-users on the use of custom Odoo modules.
  3. Be Responsible for What You Develop: Ensure that all custom Odoo modules are thoroughly tested and meet the required standards.
  4. Customize ODOO Reports (QWEB): Develop and customize Odoo reports to meet the specific needs of our clients.
  5. Modify Workflows Based on Customers' Business Flow: Analyze and modify Odoo workflows to meet the specific business needs of our clients.
  6. Configuration, Installation, and Maintenance of Server and Multi-Database Odoo Environments: Configure, install, and maintain Odoo environments to ensure smooth operation.
  7. Prepare Complete and Clear Documentation for Any Task/Work Done: Provide detailed documentation for all tasks and work completed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/IT: A degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or IT is required.
  2. Minimum of 2 Years' Experience in ODOO Development: A minimum of 2 years' experience in Odoo development is required.
  3. Strong Knowledge of Python and Programming Concepts: Strong knowledge of Python and programming concepts is required.
  4. Core Knowledge of ODOO Apps CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, etc.: Core knowledge of Odoo apps is required.
  5. Object-Oriented Programming Language: Experience with object-oriented programming languages is required.
  6. Must Have Passion for Development: A passion for development is required.
  7. Debugging Skills: Strong debugging skills are required.
  8. Quick & Autonomous Learner: Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously is required.
  9. Linux OS, SSH, and Bash Scripting: Experience with Linux OS, SSH, and Bash scripting is required.
  10. Must Have Experience in the Following Tools/Language/Technology:
  • Programming Languages: Python, XML, QWEB, CSS, HTML, JavaScript
  • Database: PostgreSQL (with object-relational mapping)
  • Collaboration Platform: GitLab (Self-hosted), GitHub, and Bitbucket
  • Development Model: Agile
  • Framework: ODOO (ORM, Workflows, Report Engine, BI, AI), Ajax, REST API
