The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

About the Role

As an Electrical Systems Designer, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, designing electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment, as well as supervising and inspecting their installation and operation.

You will also develop maintenance and operating standards for these systems and conduct simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies for electrical generation and distribution networks.
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
