Packaging Operations Manager

SILANI SWEET CHEESE LTD. is seeking a skilled Packaging Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the packaging process, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Train and supervise staff in packaging duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions, to ensure a skilled and motivated team
- Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement measures to enhance productivity and product quality
- Coordinate and schedule activities of packaging staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate with other work units
- Procure materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with moderate physical demands
- Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
