Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Building Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at McIntosh Perry. As a member of our team, your duties will include coordinating and performing on-site window, guard rail systems, and membrane testing for new construction and existing buildings. You will review and stay up-to-date with testing standards and procedures, provide assistance in preparing test reports, and maintain records of testing equipment inventory.

You will also coordinate scheduled maintenance and calibration as required, report daily updates on the ongoing testing schedule for all projects, and gather, analyze, and report meaningful performance data for various investigations. Additionally, you will drive to various site locations with your own or company vehicle and actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field such as Building/Construction Technology or a construction-related discipline is required.
  • Experience with field or lab testing of window and railing systems is considered an asset.
  • Health & Safety training requirements in construction projects are also considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance is necessary for field work.
  • The ability to lift/move heavy equipment is also required.
  • Able to work independently without supervision.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health and dental insurance, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
