Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at Graphic Packaging International, Inc. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality packaging materials
  • Adjust and run the printing press to ensure optimal performance and quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency
  • Monitor and control the production process to meet quality and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with production team members to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or acceptable experience
  • On-the-job training required and/or related experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
