Key Responsibilities- Lead consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Create business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop new business and technical processes and complete business process reviews/re-engineering for existing processes.
- Facilitate business process improvement sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to initiatives.
- Assist in the development of new IT services and support the application support and development manager.
- Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate technical and business teams.
- Escalate unresolved issues/risks, options, and recommendations to ensure timely resolution.
- Responsible for business architecture design, software system specifications design, and database modeling.
- Participate in iterative development using model-based processes and perform project management, business, and technical analysis and systems design in delivering complex software solutions.
- Produce project artifacts with XML, UML, and/or other web-services technologies.
- Prepare, update, and manage documents defining the business requirements, software requirements, functional design, and project plans and schedules reflecting achievable deliverables for the applications.
- Prepare regular project status reports indicating project deliverables, possible risk and issues, timelines, and anticipated effort.
- Ensure appropriate project communication occurs to all parties involved during all phases of the project.
- Identify required user training and additional responsibilities as required by the Project Manager for a Business Analyst or Lead Technical Analyst role.
- 8 years plus direct experience in a non-IT project management role.
- 8 years plus experience creating and managing project forecast and actual budgets.
- 8 years plus experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- 8 years plus experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases.
- 8 years plus experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
- 5 years plus experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- 3 years plus experience using Microsoft-Project or other project management tools.
