We are seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Dentro Carriers Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our refrigerated vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, overhaul, and maintain heating systems in refrigerated trucks.
  • Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used for transporting food or medical supplies.
  • Install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
  • Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks, including refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for maintenance and repair services.
  • Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
  • Interpret gas codes and handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • The role is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads.
  • Work involves bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Personal Suitability:
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
