Dental Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team at Somba Ke Family Dental. As a key member of our dental laboratory, you will be responsible for modifying dental devices, including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps, and bands. Your expertise will also extend to performing administrative functions, maintaining and ordering supplies, and packing plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in plastering, packing, waxing-up, casting, polishing, and assembly. You will also work closely with our dental team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modify dental devices, including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps, and bands
- Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory
- Maintain and order supplies
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
- Polish and buff dentures
