Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Tiny Hands Daycare Learning.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that foster learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Support children in developing good habits, including eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Prepare snacks and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Contribute to staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any challenges they may be facing.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes children's well-being.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Reliability, values, and ethics are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work a 35-hour week.
  • English language proficiency.
