About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately
    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen and dining area
    • Sanitize equipment and utensils to ensure food safety
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and store inventory, including food and supplies
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
    • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Language
    • English language proficiency required
