Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse and yard, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks efficiently and professionally to meet I-XL service standards
  • Locate inventory, prepare it for transport, and transfer it to the staging/loading area
  • Handle paperwork quickly and accurately
  • Communicate effectively using radios as required
  • Unload inbound shipments quickly and move them to the appropriate storage area
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of inbound and outbound shipments, reporting variances and damages
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory, tidy and efficiently stored
  • Keep the yard and warehouse areas clean and free from debris
  • Assist with snow removal as required
  • Ensure forklifts are in safe operating condition, performing regular inspections and maintenance work
  • Work safely and report hazards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience working in retail or dealing with the public (an asset)
  • Excellent customer-first attitude, enjoying people and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Forklift Operator license with 2-3 years' experience (preferred)
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 50 lbs
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and track record of reliability
  • Comfortable working outdoors
  • Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
  • Demonstrates a positive and professional attitude
  • Takes initiative, is proactive in their work, and results-oriented
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Works well in a small, cohesive team environment

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, as well as:

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. The schedule includes an 8-hour shift with no weekends.
