Job Summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cash Handling Specialist to join our team. As a Cash Handling Specialist, you will be responsible for the counting and movement of cash assets from the gaming floor while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cash drops and count duties in a team environment
  • Organize and secure the storage of count carts, drop boxes, drop buckets, and bill cartridges for count pulls
  • Count bills, coins, and cash equivalents
  • Report suspect cash and cash equivalents
  • Verify and reconcile before and after counts
  • Bag, bundle, secure, and transport counts
  • Provide information for reporting purposes
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external guests
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements

  • Must be able to bend and lift 15-20 lbs repeatedly
  • Maximum shift flexibility; shifts are 8 hours in length, starting 4:00AM, 5:00AM, and 6:00AM
  • Must be able to obtain AGCO Gaming certification - Category 2
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling and counting
  • Customer service driven
  • High School Diploma

Work Environment Considerations

  • Back office environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
