Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team. As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership
    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
    • Lead and manage project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and laborers
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Site Management
    • Oversee daily site operations, including labor, equipment, and materials management
    • Ensure site safety and security, including implementing and enforcing safety protocols
    • Manage and resolve site-related issues and conflicts
  • Client Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including regular communication and progress updates
    • Ensure client satisfaction and expectations are met
  • Quality and Performance
    • Ensure high-quality workmanship and materials are used throughout the project
    • Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and mitigating risks
    • Develop and implement quality control and assurance processes

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • 15 years of progressive experience in construction management, including supervisory and leadership roles
    • Journeyman certificate or post-secondary diploma in a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and direct teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
