Job Description
As a Part-Time Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a welcoming, low-stress environment. Your duties will include performing comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning, as well as delivering high-quality care across a range of dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Deliver high-quality care across a range of dental procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records using ABELdent software
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- • A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited school
• Current registration and good standing with RCDSO
• CPR certification
• 1-2 years of private practice experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build patient trust
• Self-confidence with an empathetic, patient-first approach
• Ability to manage a busy schedule while maintaining quality care
