Creative Director for Apparel and Protective Gear

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apparel and Protective Gear Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our apparel and protective gear products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of designers and developers to create innovative and high-quality apparel and protective gear products.
  • Develop and execute a strategic creative vision for the apparel design and development team, aligning with company goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to coordinate product creation and launches.
  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and accountability of the team's annual budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to source materials and ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in apparel design and development, with a focus on power sports riding gear preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with excellent communication, creative coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong creative vision and design sensibility, with the ability to translate market trends and consumer insights into compelling product concepts.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO3D programs.
