About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at 2390780 ALBERTA LTD. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions and manage cash and credit sales.
  • Scan items accurately and efficiently to ensure correct pricing and inventory management.
  • Handle customer payments and provide change as needed.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service to build loyalty and drive sales.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Standing for extended periods and moving around the store as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and maneuver merchandise as required.
