About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Red Peak Trading Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, aligning with business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a professional image.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre environment, with experience in fast-paced environments and ability to work under pressure.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
