Job Title: General Labour/Greenhouse Worker

Location: Kingsville, Ontario

Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Labour/Greenhouse Worker. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farm operations, including harvesting fruits and vegetables, monitoring plant health, and operating farm equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Harvest fruits and vegetables using hand tools such as shears and knives.
  • Monitor plants for problems such as diseases, weeds, and insect pests, and report to supervisor.
  • Inspect product prior to packaging and ensure that quality specifications are met.
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery.
  • Report quality or crop issues to labour supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 23 kg/50 lbs).
  • Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period.
  • Work in a changing temperature environment.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
