Store Manager

Brooks Grocery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at our supermarket/grocery store location. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of 5-10 employees to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, and make informed decisions to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies to maximize profitability.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, and develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make adjustments as needed to ensure financial performance.
- Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, and take proactive steps to prevent similar issues in the future.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on market research and trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads.

As a Store Manager, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
