Adecco is partnering with a leading provider of high-quality solutions for residential clients to hire a skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join their team in Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar equipment on residential properties while adhering to design specifications and safety standards. You will lead a team of apprentices, ensuring quality control, efficient project completion, and exceptional client service.

  • Job Type: Long Term | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Collect and analyze data to complete thorough assessments and installations
  • Read and interpret electrical architectural drawings and specifications to assemble and install conduits and other electrical components
  • Install and maintain distribution and control equipment, such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and fuse enclosures
  • Install, replace, and repair related electrical equipment, including data wiring and solar PV modules
  • Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
  • Install and maintain renewable power sources and related equipment
  • Program and configure monitoring systems for solar PV, electric vehicle charging stations, and LED lighting
  • Submit daily safety reports and project-related documentation
  • Mentor and train apprentices, ensuring they follow and implement safety procedures during installations

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
  • Journeyman ticket and Red Seal Electrician certification
  • Comfortable working outdoors and physically fit
  • Experience leading a team and familiar with newer technology and programming
