About the Job

ELITE VALVE is seeking a skilled Welder Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Perform various metal fabrication tasks, including fitting, braze, and torch-straightening
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment

Work Environment:

  • Noisy work environment
  • Industrial work setting
  • Standing for extended periods and handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight
