About the Role

The IT Business Analyst will serve as the main contact between projects and business partners, responsible for gathering requirements for complex technology initiatives and ensuring all business requirements are satisfied throughout all phases of a project.

This role will report to the Manager, IT Onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communication with business stakeholders to determine a clear understanding of business problems
  • Analyze business problems and define conceptual and detailed requirements for resulting technology solutions
  • Develop detail requirements, implementation plans, conversion plans, and user acceptance testing plans
  • Participate in developing project plans, test plans, training plans, and deployment plans
  • Execute user acceptance testing, implementation, conversion, and aspects of test and deployment plans
  • Work closely with the technical team to determine integration and performance testing requirements
  • Ensure coverage of requirements and test scenarios
  • Develop an awareness of industry business trends and best practices
  • Perform data analysis using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Work closely with developers and the technical support team to resolve production support issues
Requirements
  • University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of Information Technology experience for custom systems and implementation on large, complex projects
  • Experience with applying agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience working with file encryption, transfer, and automation tools
  • Highly developed planning, organizing, and negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated understanding in requirements definition and management techniques, including business process modeling, user stories, workflow analysis, and data modeling
  • Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and data mining desirable
