About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Boat Inspector to join our team at Mer Sob Inc. as a Maritime Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of marine vessels to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections of marine vessels to identify potential safety hazards and non-compliance issues.
  • Verify documentation and records related to vessel maintenance, repairs, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with vessel owners, operators, and regulatory agencies to address inspection findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in marine vessel inspection.
  • Communicate inspection results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Reliability and ability to work independently.
