About the Role

The Head of Strategic Planning will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our Canadian affiliate. As a member of our local leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic decision making and ensuring the implementation of our global processes and policies in Finance, Operational Excellence, and Procurement.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Leverage your expertise to lead and manage the I2I team in Canada.
  2. Drive constructive dialogue on resource allocation and value creation within Patient Impact.
  3. Foster a performance management culture for respective businesses and act as a dedicated counterpart and sparring partner to the GM and the Canadian LT.
  4. Ensure quality of input in company processes like Strat plan, budget, and drive consistency and traceability of forecasting process.
  5. Collaborate with all I2I teams, GBS, consolidation, strategy team, portfolio, Talent, Procurement, Supply chain, Global Treasury, and Tax.
  6. Develop and execute finance strategy and represent Finance at the Leadership of the affiliate LT.
  7. Work as a finance business partner for the GM and his/her direct reports, steering them to achieve the country's financial objectives.
  8. Guardian of data quality, analyzing and presenting financials in an accurate and timely manner, overseeing all financials and Business cases (including pricing).
  9. Coordinate and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the LT members, reviewing all financial plans and budgets, monitoring progress and changes, and keeping senior leadership team abreast of the organization's financial status.
  10. Update and implement all necessary business policies.
  11. Review and approval of all contracts and addendums to ensure accounting and tax compliance.
