About the Role:

The Deputy Staff Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the Special Programs and Systems Team within the High Consequence Missions Sector. This individual will work directly with the Staff Chief Engineer and other Senior Technical Directors to develop key technologies, integrate and shape solutions for our program directorate, and support the creation of new strategies to win and perform future programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional engineering teams
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including cost and schedule management and tracking
  3. Identify and mitigate program risks
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop new technologies on Internal Research and Development (IRAD)
  5. Communicate progress and results to internal stakeholders and customer leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience
  • At least 10 years total related experience with at least 5 in a technical leadership role
  • Experience in Software, Hardware, or Embedded Systems Development
  • Active Top Secret SCI clearance and amenable for poly upgrade
