Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

EPCM is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring they are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality work.
