About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Aryira Foods Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate the ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to identify areas for improvement.

Reporting and Administration

Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff performance and customer feedback.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Setting and Conditions

Fast-paced environment and physically demanding work conditions.

Supervision and Team Management

Supervise and manage a team of 3-4 people.

Language and Communication

Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
