Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

The Gananoque Inn & Spa is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail.
