We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at SC Johnson Professional. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and machinery in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery, and ensure it meets standard performance specifications.
- Develop and implement Planned Maintenance Programs to ensure reliable and cost-effective performance of equipment.
- Requisition materials and parts necessary to maintain machinery and equipment.
- Prepare job material lists and perform job costing regarding material and labor requirements.
- Work in conjunction with other resources assigned to jobs throughout the plant, and provide shift coverage as required.
- Attend training courses and seminars to maintain technical skill level and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- College diploma with a relevant specialization.
- Industrial Millwright license required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably 2-3 years or more related to the packaged goods industry.
