Join Our Team as a Community Physiotherapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team at Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR), a division of Lifemark. As a Community Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work with adults and children in the Durham Region, providing ministry-funded, community-based physiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers.
  • Provide education to clients and caregivers, and link them to community agencies and resources as needed.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation of assessment findings, care plans, progress, and discharge summaries.
Requirements:
  • Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Experience working in a community setting is preferred, but new graduates are also considered.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
