Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Commercial Building Cleaning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cleaning staff
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and bending
