In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to provide in-home support services for our clients in Newmarket. The successful candidate will work within a private residence, providing assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to follow client care plans, and documentation skills. A Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide Diploma is required, along with current CPR/First Aid Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (Activities of Daily Living - ADLs)
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living - IADLs), including vacuuming, laundry, and washing dishes
- Prepare basic meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Respond to emergency situations
- Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers
